Child Protection Policy
We are never acceptable for a child
to be abused and we will take steps to prevent abuse
wherever s/he can, and respond to the needs of all
children s/he comes into contact with in relation to
work whenever s/he suspects they are being abused.
In the event of practice in contravention of the CPP
or abuse by the parties/partners/contractors, Shahid
Trading Company may be unable to continue business
with them if it has serious doubts about the actions
and behavior of parties/partners/contractors, and if
these breach the Child Protection Policy.It is
absolute requirement if Shahid Trading Company and a
condition of the agreement that no person or body (
herein referred as party/partners/contractors) who
/which carries out work on Shahid Trading Company
behalf pursuant to the Contract is or has been or
becomes in a anyway involved in or associated with
the abuse or exploitation of children.
The Party as a condition of the contract agrees that
it will bring the contents of the Child protection
policy to the attention of any employee, agent, sub
contractor or other workers who are engaged to carry
out part or all of the work contracted to be done
for Shahid Trading Company and to instruct them to
observe and apply the policy strictly in all of
their dealings with children.
If it became known that the party or any of its co-
partner or employee, agent, sub contractor or any
other worked who are engaged directly with the work
of the Contractor are involved in the maltreatment
of children thereby also compromised the integrity
and reputation of Shahid Trading Company, this would
constitute a breach of the terms and conditions of
the agreements/contracts and result in Shahid
Trading Company being entitled summarily to
terminate the agreements/contracts with the parties
/ manufactures / partners / contractors etc. |
